The Pony Saga Continues

More art of you know what! This drawing below took a good while, but it was worth the effort I think!

 The muffin loving pony is called Derpy Hooves - it was a fan name, but the creators of the show ended up adopting it as the official name!

 Some more Twilight Sparkles.

 Some bronies create their own OC's (original characters).  Below is one I particularly like called Radiant Spark.

 Pinkie/Piggie Pie.

 And a couple of Rainbow Dash drawings.  The one below is in colored pencil; kind of rough but not terrible.

Large Array of Pony Art Inbound

 Season 2 of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is finished!  Begin the episode-less summer!  We saw this evil queen up there get defeated!  It's Queen Chrysalis, she has a legion of changelings at her disposal.

 I wanted to make this post because of all the pony art I have been creating and posting over at ponychan: BAppleJuice's Pony Art Thread

 So Applejack and Twilight are still my favorite to draw, but Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash can be fun too!

 I believe my drawing these critters have made my art more appealing in general: thanks Lauren Faust!

Peculiar Penciled Ponies Posting

 Odd, eh? I was thinking about Basil Wolverton whilst drawing these.  I didn't do any fancy stippling, though.  I'll try that next time perhaps.

 Twi, Pinkie, and Fluttershy, in that order.

21st Century Schizoid Pony

Here is something I drew:

It's an Applejack.  I based it off of this King Crimson album cover:

It's a great album called In The Court of the Crimson King, by King Crimson.  I used Prismacolor markers to try and get similar warm/cool color contrast, but using a different palette.  It's not quite as grotesque as the original, but I like how it turned out.

Pony comic I made for fun.

I reckon it took me about a week from conception to completion.  Storyboarding was the most fun part, but the inking and coloring was a zen kinda thing.

I'm a victim of circumstance! I really enjoy drawing these ponies, that's for sure.  I did these for the good folks down at ponychan.  A happy Applejack, a bouncy Pinkie Pie, a flying Fluttershy, and Twilight Sparkle! And now, ALL NEW Rainbow Dash and Rarity!

Hooray for Ponies!

I've been enjoying the show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic for a while, and I decided to post some pony pics.

 There was a BroNYCon recently, and bronies' devotion to the show continues.

 Some people are getting way too excited - something of a pony religion.  Therefore many people on the internet must also hate it.  I decided to just like it - even though it is one of only a few television shows I will watch - it's entertaining and lighthearted, so why not?

Also, it was created by Lauren Faust, from the people who brought you Powerpuff Girls.

Here's some off model Applejacks, Fluttershys, Pinkie Pies, and Rainbow Dashes.  Not to mention Twilight Sparkle (as well as Meowth and some Looney Tunes characters).

 One person who caught my eye in looking up show clips is Max Gilardi, who has made some fan animations - but his APPLE.MOV and DRESS.MOV (and soon, SHED.MOV) is for adults only.  Not for children!!!

 Applejack and Twilight Sparkle are probably my favorites to draw.
